An interview with Samantha Hass, Registered Dietitian at F-Factor, on how she creates her own Sunday Sanctuary.\nHow do you create sanctuary in your life? \nOne way that I create sanctuary in my life is by observing the Sabbath. I turn off my phone, computer, and television for 25 hours every Friday night through Saturday night. I also love to cook. It is my way of being creative and unwinding after work. I am also loving pilates right now! It’s a good workout, but also relaxing. I also light candles in my home- I have them all over my house and I light them at night before bed. It helps me to unwind from a busy day and slow down. \n What are your favorite self-care products? \nI love Bubble baths! No question. If I could take a bubble bath every night I would. I also use a Jade roller, which I try to use every day, but especially after a night of drinking or flying. Essential oils are also a favorite self-care product of mine. I have an orange scented oil for energy and lavender for at night before bed.\nWhat are your favorite Sunday activities that prepare you for the week ahead? \nI always need to get outside on Sundays. I also love to meal prep for the week ahead. I make high fiber muffins, waffles, and pancakes. I grocery shop, usually at Trader Joes, and stock up on my favorite products for the week. I also always make sure to do something fun like play tennis, go bowling, see a Broadway show, or go out for brunch.\nWhich L’or de Seraphine candle is your favorite?\nIt is so hard to choose because I love so many of them, but I think my favorite may be Belvedere. I love the design and the smell. It is so energizing.
