Candle Care
Always keep at room temperature.
Keeping your candle between 60-74 degrees Farenheit will keep the wax from becoming too soft which can create an uneven melt.
Let it melt.
Let your candle burn for about 4 hours on the first use to liquify the top layer and create an even wax pool. Otherwise, you may end up with a memory ring in your wax which can lead to tunneling rather than an even melt.
Don't blow it out.
To avoid unwarranted ash, soot, and smoke in the air, snuff out the flame with the lid when you're done burning.
Trim the wick.
After each burn, trim the wick to about ¼ inch to ensure a stead, ash free flame and a clean burn. Make sure to remove any trimmings before burning.
Reuse!
Use your vessel to hold pencils, art supplies, utensils, makeup brushes, etc. Or, use it as a planter or a vase. Place it in the freezer for just a few hours to easily remove any remaining wax.
How to repurpose.
To remove the wax from the vessel, place in a freezer for a 3-4 hours and it should immediately pop out when flipped upside-down. Otherwise, a spoon or butter knife to press down on one corner of the wax to lift and remove. Rinse the vessel with soap and warm water to remove any residue before repurposing.
